Inside Text:

Have you ever lost a beloved pet & wondered if you would ever see them again?  Many ask if our pets will go to Heaven.  Since everything on earth is a picture or pattern of things in Heaven, then God's eternal home must certainly be filled with these loyal friends.  During the millennial reign of Christ, the earth will be filled with tame & beautiful animals of all descriptions.

"The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, & the leopard shall lie down with the kid; & the calf & the young lion & the fatling together; & a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together' & the lion shall eat straw like the ox." Isaiah 11:6-7

The Bible does not specifically state anything concerning animals being taken to Heaven upon death.  However, since God promises that He will not withhold any good thing from those who love Him... there is the possibility that a simple request to our Savior, could make petitions for our pets a fulfilled request instantaneously.

"For with God nothing shall be impossible." Luke 1:37 "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." John 14;14  "...No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly." Psalm 84:11 "Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven." Luke 6:23 "How much more shall your Father which is in Heaven give good things to them that ask Him?" Matthew 7:11

There are multitudes whose beloved pets have gone the way of all flesh & died.  God is able to bring them back from dust & ashes as simply as He does humans when the dead in Christ rise.

"The Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

However, should this be so, their restoration would probably occur only after believers arrived & requested their pets because, having the animals we loved with us in Heaven would not be because of salvation, which is a spiritual experience, but because our requests produced God's recreation or restoration of our faithful, loving, & loyal furry friends. “We know that animals are not guilty of sin. It was human sin, not theirs, that caused God to place a curse on creation, subjecting all living things to eventual death.  That's because God created the first human, Adam, in a position of responsibility over the world. When Adam disobeyed God, he did so as head of humanity & the world.  This is why the consequences of sin – including death – came not just upon Adam, but upon his descendants & the whole earth.

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans & suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.” Romans 8:18-22

Can We Know For Sure That We Will Go To Heaven?
A recent poll indicated that for every American who believes they are going to Hell, there are 120 who believe they're going to Heaven.  This optimism stands in stark contrast to Jesus Christ's words written in the Bible:
"Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few." Matthew 7:13-14

You are probably a really nice person, but did you know that God doesn't evaluate our lives by how nice we are to others? Instead, He's given us a tool by which He evaluates our actions & life with, called the Ten Commandments.

This is what God uses to expose our true inner-self, much like the way we use a mirror to expose our outer-self. Just as we wouldn't leave our house without looking as good as we could, we shouldn't leave this life we are living without making sure we are in good spiritual-condition with God.

Let’s see how God looks at us; Have you ever told a lie, or taken something that doesn't belong to you, or used God's name as a byword or curse word? That’s called blasphemy, The Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. (Exodus 20:7)  Did you know that Jesus says if you've ever lusted after someone you're guilty of committing adultery in your heart. If you're honest with yourself, you can see that in God's eyes no one has been able to live up to His perfect standards.  You will be accountable before God for the mistakes you have made. (James 2:10)  If you could go from "guilty" (which we all are) to "not guilty”, would that be good news? Jesus told us that God cares for us so much that He has provided a way for this to happen. Jesus said that if you confess your sins to God and turn from sinful living, God will forgive you (1 John 1:7-9), and if you begin living your life for Jesus and obey Him as Lord, you will be saved! (John 3:36) This is truly Good News! Jesus said,
"Whom the Son of God sets free (from sin and God's wrath) is free indeed." John 8:36

Please consider this. Life is too short and ETERNITY is far too long not to be sure where you will spend it.

Every second two people die.

What if this is your second?

If you understand what God has done to make forgiveness & eternal life possible for you, you may want to express it in words like these:

"Dear Lord, I confess that I don't measure up to your perfect standard. Thank you for sending Jesus to die for my sins. I now place my trust in Him as my Savior. Thank you for Your forgiveness and Your gift of eternal life."
