The Rapture, Christ Coming For His Bride

The Rapture is the next major event on God’s Calendar for the believers in Christ who are praying, watching, and waiting for His return. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 “The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the Archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye... for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible , and we shall be changed.” This means a perfect, immortal body like Christ’s, which will never be hurt, sick or die again.

No one knows the exact hour or day when Christ will return, but Christians are told in 1 Thessalonians 5:4 “You are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

The Rapture will be followed by seven years of Tribulation which Will Not Start Until the signing of a Seven Year Peace Treaty with Israel.  Jesus will return with His Saints at the end of the Tribulation to win the “Battle of Armageddon” and begin His Millennial Reign.

The Coming Tribulation

Bible Prophecies from 2000 years ago are clearly visible. The Prophets said the generation who were living when the Jews, returned to their home land, Israel, would see all things fulfilled.

Matthew 24:34, Mark 13:30, and Luke 21:32 said, “This generation will not pass away, until all these things have taken place.”

Signs We Have Witnessed

1. The birth of Israel as a nation, in one day, fulfilled May 14, 1948 after 2,534 Years.

Isaiah 66:8 “Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Has a nation ever been born in a single day? Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment?”

Genesis 12:3 God said, “I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you.”

2. Israel in Possession of Jerusalem since the 1967 Six-Day War. The capture of Jerusalem was critical from a prophetic standpoint since after 3½ years of the 7 year Tribulation, the Antichrist will enter a rebuilt Holy Temple in Jerusalem, where he will declare himself to be God. 

Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, and Mark 13:14 call this event the “Abomination of Desolation.” 

3. Jerusalem totally Surrounded by enemies. Zechariah 12:3 “In that day I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people… and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it.”

Psalms 83:4 “They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.”

4. World Leaders now have an Opportunity to Create “The New World Order” because of the International Financial Crisis. With a financial collapse we will move into a one world currency. The Bible foretold about a man who would rise to power very quickly. He would come in with crafty ideas, many plans and promises. The whole world would be deceived and marvel at how a mere man could have such wonderful ideas and powers. The Antichrist who will lead this world government (after the Rapture) will be (or will become) the leader of the European Union. In Revelation he is called the “Beast”.

Rev. 13:7-8 “Power was given him over all people, and tongues, and nations.  And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life…”

Daniel 9:27 “He will confirm the covenant (make a treaty with Israel) for one week (seven years): and in the middle of the week (3½ years) he will cause the sacrifice and the offerings to stop (he will break the treaty), and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate” (an image of himself will be set up in the Jewish Holy Temple and he will claim to be God).

5. Microchips in Humans have become reality. The Food and Drug Administration has given its approval for an implantable microchip to be used for medical purposes. This Chip will become the One World Leader’s Mark, called the “Mark of the Beast”, and all people who receive it will be damned to hell, with absolutely no turning back once you have received his Mark!  Those who do not receive it will not be allowed to buy or sell anything! Then, the World Ruler will begin to put people to death for not receiving his mark; perhaps people will be labeled a radical or a terrorist.

Micah 7:5-7 Warns that your closest family members and friends will turn against you.

Many people already believe the chip will solve the world’s problems. The microchip would prove invaluable with a person’s medical history, identification, & all financial information stored on it. There will be no cash or credit cards that can be stolen. Paychecks will be direct deposited into your bank accounts and all monetary transactions will be done with a scan of your hand or forehead.

In design, the chip is simple: Cheap implantable devices and quick, low-cost implantation have made chipping easy and affordable. It takes about 20 minutes, and does not require stitches.  A medical-grade glass capsule holds a silicon computer chip, a copper antenna and a “capacitor” that transmits data stored on the chip when prompted by an electromagnetic reader. Implantations are quick, relatively simple procedures.  After a local anesthetic is administered, a hypodermic needle injects the chip under the skin. Then the chip can be continuously updated, since all information is stored on a database accessed via the Internet.
