August 14, 2001, Tuesday - December 4, 2020, Friday

On Friday morning, December 4, 2020, at approximately 9:13 AM, Ryan Liam Fite went to be with the Lord, due to a fatal crash that occurred north of Big Spring, Texas.

A 27-year-old man driving a Ford pickup failed to yield right-of-way at a stop sign on FM 846. This resulted in his vehicle colliding with a Silverado pickup, driven by a 37-year-old man and his passenger 19-year-old Ryan Fite, who were traveling on highway 1584 headed to their first job of the day.

The 37-year-old driver was airlifted to Lubbock with incapacitating injuries. Ryan Fite was pronounced dead on the scene. The 27-year-old man sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was transported to a Big Spring Medical Center.

2 Corinthians 5:8 "To be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord."

At death our Spirit leaves our body and goes to Heaven to be present with the Lord.

I can imagine the Lord handing Ryan an exquisite Lightsaber in Heaven and saying, "Ryan, you're going to love this one. I had it special made just for you.

Ryan Fite - Jan 1, 2020

It is time for a change, a good one, one that will change everyone’s view on me. It’s time to let go of the past, move on from what’s been holding me back and start working on the things I truly look forward to, to start a new chapter. 2019 was a roller coaster of emotions but ended on a mostly high note, with that, I would like 2020 to be even better starting with me becoming a better person. Thank you to everyone who was with me and supported me in times of need. I hope this year treats us all well.

Colton Redlin You’re already a great person and great friend man.

Condolences and Shared Memories

Matthew Agunbiade:
I didn't know
my brother too much but he was way too young to pass on. I can only hope that he may rest peacefully with our Mom. May he forever stay in our memories and our hearts.

Brooklin Mojica:
You will be missed. I love you so much Ryan, I will miss all the times we hung out and everything we shared. Rest easy love.

Dora Hickam:
Ryan was really, truly,
an amazing friend. I have so many stories about the times that he made me feel actually wanted which isn’t always easy to come by. He always seemed to have such a difficult time saying goodbye and honestly? It was really an honor that he actually wanted to hang out with me that much. Not only was he just an amazing friend, he basically got me my old job. He let my friends and I into the theatre for a movie and suddenly I was offered an interview. Working with him was even more amazing than just being his classmate since he always made the work day so fun. When he quit, he left me a really sweet little note saying how much fun he had working with me, and I still carry it in my wallet to this day. Each Christmas he gave amazing gifts and I’m devastated that I won’t be able to try to pay him back this year. Last year he gave me a full blown lightsaber! So expensive right? I barely even felt like I deserved such a gift and he gave it to me without a second thought, I am just so honored that he thought I was that important. When he took my Dad’s class, he left a note at the end of the year telling him that he “raised his daughter right” and while I probably shouldn’t have seen it, I’m so glad that I got the chance to read it. He was just such a special guy and it hurts so much that I can’t just text him and ask if we can hang out anymore. He had one of the most unique senses of humor I’ve ever seen and it made it all the more fun to hang out with him. So thank you, Ryan’s parents, for raising him right.

Gabe Martinez:
I now realize even more how blessed I have been to have taught Ryan while he was in band program at Big Spring ISD. He was a special kind of student to me and there was never a moment that he took for granted in working to be the best role model for the Drumline that he was a part of within the Steer Band. He kept in close contact after he graduated and never failed to put a smile on anyone’s face. This news has shattered my heart, but I rejoice in knowing that one day I’ll see Ryan again through the hope of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will forever remember Ryan Fite. Praying for James and Amanda, and all who loved this precious soul. My deepest condolences to you all.

Jeremy Grimes:
I had the pleasure of being Ryan's first supervisor at his first job at the movie theater. I remember a shy and a little frightened young man at first but then he quickly blossomed into a confident and very efficient young man. He has such an amazing soul and we had many moments of laughter over his time with us and after as well. I will remember him always. It’s not every day we get to know a star and he was a star that shone the most brightly.

Phillip Viscon:
Ryan was an amazing young man and I am proud to be able to have called him my friend. As a manager, you are not supposed to have favorite employees, but Ryan was truly my favorite. Every shift we worked together at Cinemark was full of laughter, fun, and joy. That was thanks to Ryan. His caring spirit could brighten up any room, and his humor was never ending. My heart goes out to his family, and his friends. The memories he has left for those who were touched by his presence in their lives will never be forgotten, myself included. Rest in Peace brother.

If he met you once, he knew you as a friend. Rest well Ryan, till we meet again.

K.yaguchi:
I do not know what words fit in this time. I do not have words to comfort Ryan’s family. I just say, “It is too soon” to complete his duty in the World. He was a quiet and smiling student in my class. He will be missed but not be forgotten. My deepest sympathy and prayers to Ryan’s family.

Kaelob Stewart:

Ryan is an absolutely amazing soul. He was always the most open and true person that he could be, and he brought that out in every person who's heart he gracefully touched. He would do the most insane and out of the way things for all of his friends. I can't count how many times he brought 30 gallon trash bags full of popcorn to share with everyone. He shared memes with anyone willing to look, Ryan rolled every person who ever knew him, and made even the worst days amazing ones. He truly was and is the best person I have ever known, and he brought out the best person in every soul he met. Rest in peace, spoon king.

Analisa Blount: (ana victoriab)
I miss you more than you know, and I'll miss my dueling partner. I love you brother.

Joy L. Harrison:
I never met Ryan, I know that he had lots of friends. I drove by the cemetery on my way home. So many cars and other vehicles were at the cemetery. I know that he was a special young man. GOD bless and comfort each one. Love you all.

Dora Hickam:

Ryan was a really great friend. I hung out with him a lot and he almost always avoided leaving for as long as possible. I would start to mention leaving and suddenly another conversation would start up leaving us chatting for hours. It was always just so hard to say goodbye. What an honor it was for him to want to hang out with me for so long. He never hesitated to invite me to his house on multiple occasions and always sent pictures of his dogs and cats when I was down. He gave wonderful gifts that honestly made me feel so loved. He even bought me a lightsaber which is amazing because they’re so expensive. He really spent that much money on me! I couldn’t thank him enough. He also always reminded me when some special event was going on in Pokémon go which I might’ve missed otherwise. He was also an amazing coworker and honestly the theatre wasn’t near as much fun to work at without him. He was goofy and funny and always made me laugh. He even “initiated” me by making me eat popcorn completely drenched in salt. It was absolutely hilarious. He was just such an amazing friend and I’m going to miss him dearly. He was truly one of a kind. I could go on and on with stories about his kindness or humor, and I’m going to hold onto those memories forever.

Ryan has been Welcomed to Heaven
Let's Make Sure Heaven is Our Home Too

Accepting Jesus Christ is Very Simple

Romans 10:9,10,13 "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. 10 For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation. 13 For whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

The decision to accept Jesus as our Savior is extremely important, because Our Soul is Eternal!  If we do not accept Jesus as our Savior while we are living, one second after we die it will be too late.

God is not mad at us! He isn't counting our sins and holding them against us. He wants to have a personal relationship with us. He does not evaluate our lives and actions by how good we are. He knows we can never live up to His perfect standards. This is why God Himself provided the way for us to be judged "not guilty", and to receive forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life. There's no righteous deed we can do that will earn us a place in Heaven. We come to Christ empty-handed. We can take no credit for our salvation. This gift cannot be worked for, earned, or achieved. It's dependent solely on Christ's generous sacrifice for us.

Titus 3:5 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us."

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are you saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not of works, so that no man may boast."

The majority of people think if they are good and do good works, they will enter Heaven. But entering Heaven is not based on being good, it’s based on having a relationship with Jesus Christ. When we are saved, the Bible says we then become the children of God. So God is our Father, and Jesus becomes not only our Lord and Savior, but he is also our elder Brother.

To have this relationship we need to say something like, “Dear God, I Thank You for sending Your Son Jesus to die on a cross for me. I believe His blood was shed to cleanse me from all my sins and He rose again to give me Eternal Life.  Jesus, I love you for all you have done for me, and I ask you to please forgive me, come into my heart, and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You Jesus!”

If you have said this prayer, let people know that you are a Christian.  In the Bible Jesus said …
Matthew 10:32 "Whosoever therefore shall confess Me before men, him will I confess also before My Father which is in Heaven."

Isaiah 61:10 "I will greatly rejoice in the LORD . . . For He has clothed me with the Garments of Salvation, He has covered me with the Robe of Righteousness."

The following analogy will help you understand this Heavenly Relationship.

For example, if you went and found the most beautiful home in the country, and you knocked on their door, and you said,  “Excuse me, I’m moving in with you because I am a good person”.

What do you think the owner of that home would say to you?

“No, you are not!”  Right, you surely wouldn’t expect him to say, “Sure, come on in”, because you have no relationship with him!

Yet people go through their entire lives, they have nothing to do with God, they deny Jesus as the Son of God, which God said is the only way into His house, and then at the end of their lives they come and knock on His door and say, “Excuse me, I’m moving in with you because I am a good person”.

You see, God offers to be their Father throughout their whole life, but they push Him away. So God is their Creator, but He is not their Father until they invite His Son, Jesus, in as their Savior. Then they become God’s children and they have the privilege of living with Him for all Eternity.

Our standard of "good" and God’s are two different things. God’s standard is perfect, and that’s a really high standard, so we can’t stand up before a holy God and say, “I’m pretty good, so let me in”.  Thank God our salvation is based on a relationship with Jesus Christ and not based on us being good or none of us could be saved!
“Adapted from an excerpt from Wiese”

Jesus died on the cross as the only One Worthy to pay the penalty

for our sins demanded by the Holiness of God:

2 Corinthians 5:21 "For our sake He (God) made Him (Jesus) to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the Righteousness of God."

John 3:16 “God so Loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have Eternal Life.”

Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Isaiah 55:6 “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near."

For all Eternity you'll be glad you did.
Life is short and ETERNITY is far too long not to be sure where you will spend it!

When this life ends  ...  Make sure you know where you will be.
You may live a hundred years on earth and feel it is an extremely long time,
but a million years will only be a few seconds of your time in Eternity.
You will be in one place or the other!
Be sure you spend your Eternity in Heaven!

In Loving Memory of

Ryan Liam Fite

2 Corinthians 5:1 "For we know that if our earthly house [our physical body] ... were dissolved [through death], we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." (We will have an Eternal Body

1 Thessalonians 4:13-17  “I would not have you to be ignorant, ... concerning them which ... [have died], that you sorrow not, ... as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which ... [have died] in Jesus will God bring with Him ... We which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not ... [precede] them which ... [have died] For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

Philippians 3:20-21  “We look for … the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our ... [earthly] body that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious [resurrected] body.”

1 John 3:2  “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He [Christ] shall appear,
we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.”

2 Corinthians 4:18  “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are ... [temporary]; but
the things which are not seen are eternal [everlasting].”

1 Corinthians 15:51-53  "Behold, I ... [tell] you a mystery; We shall not all ... [die], but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead (shall be reunited with their bodies and) shall be raised incorruptible, and we [the living, also] shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality."

What a marvelous promise for Believers, dead or living, to be changed instantly. In a moment, in the blink of an eye we will be changed from mortal bodies into beings with glorified bodies. This means a perfect, immortal body like Christ’s body, which can never be hurt, sick, or die again.
